Lily joined the Confiscation Department at Imran Khan and Partners in May 2018.
Lily graduated from the University of Sussex with a first class undergraduate degree in Law and American Studies. She was awarded Sussex Law School’s First Generation Scholar Prize for Academic Excellence 2018, particularly commending her achievements in Human Rights Law.
Lily has spent time living in Miami, Florida where she researched the barriers minority populations face within the legal system. Her research at the University of Miami was centered around the Miami Dade Drug Court, a diversion and treatment program for drug offenders. The Drug Court aims to rehabilitate defendants through intense supervision by judges and treatment specialists.
Lily is also dedicated to ensuring quality legal protection for the homeless population of the UK. She has worked closely with StreetLaw Brighton, a community legal project which provides legal advice to homeless individuals. Her research was given to residents' associations across Brighton and Hove and will be included in a report that will analyse the implementation of Public Space Protection Orders.
