IKP act in Jermaine Baker Public Inquiry



On 12 February 2020 the Home Secretary announced an independent inquiry, under the Inquiries Act 2005, to investigate the circumstances of the death of Jermaine Baker during a Metropolitan Police Service operation on 11 December 2015. Chairman to the Inquiry is HH Clement Goldstone QC.

The Inquiry will be commencing its substantive oral hearings on Monday 14th June 2021. They are anticipated to run up until Friday 6th August 2021 at the latest.


They will be held at the International Dispute Resolution Centre [IDRC], Chronicle House, 2nd floor, 72-78 Fleet Street, London EC4A 1HY.
