Francesca Dickens
Paralegal
Francesca joined the Actions Against the Police and Public Law Department (Inquests, Public Law and Public Inquiries) in February 2023. She works closely with Emma Gilbert, Daniel Cooper and Imran Khan KC on a range of complex cases including inquests, and claims against public authorities. Since joining the firm, Francesca has worked extensively the litigation arising from the Grenfell Tower fire.
Francesca studied European Law at the University of Maastricht and has a Masters in Migration and Refugee Law from the University of Amsterdam. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Cardiff in 2022, achieving distinction in each of her subjects. Alongside her work as a paralegal, she is currently studying the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law in London Bloomsbury.
Francesca is a talented linguist, who speaks conversational Spanish and German. She previously worked for the United Nations in Vienna, Austria. Prior to joining Imran Khan and Partners, Francesca volunteered as a legal advisor working with displaced people in Greece at the Legal Centre Lesvos and worked more recently as an immigration paralegal for two years at a UK-wide firm.
